"If you want to go fast go alone.
If you want to go far, go together."

- African Proverb

If it takes a village to raise a child, it definitely takes one to educate a child as well.  Our partners allow for us to support, enrich and expand the STEM curriculum that we try to provide daily. We remain grateful for their support and committed to continued partnerships.

Ways to Partner

Are you interested in partnering with us as we attempt to change the trajectory of our students' lives by providing them with a high quality STEM education?  Well there are many ways to do this - every partnership is different.  Here are ways to partner:

Donor

Technology evolves daily. So as you can imagine, funding a rigorous and relevant STEM initiative is EXPENSIVE. You can help us out by making a monetary or in-kind donation. See "Giving and Partnership Opportunities" for current needs and wish lists.

Program
Provider

Do you own or represent a business or non-profit organization that provides after-school and/or summer opportunity, internship or program? Work with our faculty to identify students who will be the best fit for your program.

Advisory
Board

There are a number of decisions that our school leadership team has to make regarding the direction of our STEM initiative. By joining our advisory board, you will be able to leverage your expertise to advise our team about best practices.

Curriculum
Collaborator

Work with our instructional faculty to plan engaging lessons, labs and project based learning experiences. You can also provide professional development opportunities for teachers, instructional support faculty and administrators.

Guest
Facilitator

At South Atlanta High School, we believe that students should learn from their community and not just teachers. Get up close and personal (in a socially distanced way) with our best asset...our students. Facilitate or co-facilitate a lesson with students.

Mentor

In order to ensure that students are poised for success in a STEM or STEM related field, they often need more than just engaging instruction. Sometimes they need guidance about the everyday decisions that they encounter daily.  Becoming a mentor can give you the opportunity to impact students beyond the classroom.

Interested in partnering in another way?  Not a problem!  Let us know what you have in mind!
